INTRODUCTION TO CLUB
Chelmsford
Netball Club was founded in 1963
and has been going strong ever since.
Out of the original
team, three members are still active in the club today.
Jean Armstrong (President of the
Club), Val Baker manages teams
in the Chelmsford Junior Netball Club and
Jean Hamblin is the Vice Chair of the Club.
Jean Armstrong was
also founder member of the Junior Club and one of the founders of
the Chelmsford & District Netball League.
Chelmsford
Netball Club currently
has 7 teams that play in the Chelmsford and District Netball League
in divisions 1, 2, 4, 8, 9 and 10 (with 2 teams in Div. 4).
Our team colours are
White tops and
Purple skirts.
The Club trains on
Tuesdays, from 7.30pm to 9pm at Great Baddow High School.
